Wearing gloves and using a brush, begin applying the relaxer. Start at the back of the head, beginning at the nape in a clockwise direction. Monitor the desired level of straightening. 3. Rinse hair for 20 minutes with lukewarm water. Wash with a mild shampoo 2 or 3 times, massaging until a very clear lather is obtained. Rinse and remove excess water with a towel. 4. Apply Mutari 48H Finishing Protector. Distribute evenly through the hair. Brush well and flat iron in thin sections, 5 passes per section, aligning according to the hair's natural growth. Use a flat iron temperature of 180°C to 200°C. Let cool. Do not rinse. 5. Apply Mutari Polished Top Coat Mask, using a brush, aligning the strands without bending along their length. Leave on in a straight position for 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Apply Mutari 48H Finishing Protector. 6. Brush and, if desired, flat iron for greater definition of the straight look.
