After having performed the strand test, follow the steps below. NOTE: THE STRAND TEST IS ESSENTIAL BEFORE PERFORMING THE PROCEDURE. DEFINITIVE BRUSH 1. Divide the hair into quadrants (as per Fig. 2) 2. Wearing gloves and with the aid of a brush, begin applying the relaxer. Start at the back of the head, beginning at the nape of the neck in a clockwise direction. Follow the desired degree of straightening. 3. Rinse hair for 20 minutes with warm water. Wash it with a gentle shampoo 2 or 3 times, massaging until a very clear lather is obtained. Rinse and remove excess water with a towel. 4. Apply Mutari 48H Finishing Protector. Spread evenly over the hair strands. Brush well and flat iron in thin sections, 5 times each section, aligning according to the growth direction. Use a flat iron temperature of 180°C to 200°C. Let cool. Do not rinse. 5. Apply Mutari Polished Top Coat Mask, with the aid of a brush, aligning the strands without bending along their length. Leave on in a straight position for 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Apply Mutari 48H Finishing Protector. 6. Brush and, if desired, flat iron for greater definition of straightness. NATURAL STRAIGHT BRUSH 1. Divide the hair into quadrants (as per Fig. 2). 2. Apply Sodium Pro Soft Relaxing Cream according to the strand test. 3. Wearing gloves and with the aid of a brush, begin applying Sodium Pro Soft Relaxing Cream. Start at the back of the head, beginning at the nape of the neck in a clockwise direction. Follow the desired degree of straightening. 4. Rinse hair for 20 minutes with warm water. Wash it with a gentle shampoo 2 or 3 times, massaging until a very clear lather is obtained. Rinse and remove excess water with a towel. 5. Apply Mutari Polished Top Coat Mask, with the aid of a brush, aligning the strands without bending along their length. Leave on in a straight position for 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. 6. Apply Mutari 48H Finishing Protector. Brush and, if desired, flat iron for greater definition of straightness. OBSERVATIONS • When applying the Relaxing Cream, maintain a distance of 1 cm from the root. • It is essential that there is enough Relaxing Cream to cover the hair strands. • Carefully observe the desired degree of unwaving, monitoring the fiber's relaxation every 3 minutes. • If the hair absorbs the cream's moisture and it becomes stiff, spray water to rehydrate it.
